FINISHER MEDALS
We love finisher medals!  All participants who complete a full event will receive some fun Stuff We All Get (SWAG) items and a finisher medal at each event - so the more events you complete, the more events and fun prizes you can earn!   This includes all triathlon participants who complete a swim+bike+run, as well as duathlon participants who complete a bike+run (when available).  Additionally, all members of a relay team (when available) will receive finisher medals as well - and those who also VOLUNTEER can earn additional swag items too, so consider signing up to volunteer before or after you race too!

SCORED RESULTS 
Results are determined by the total distance you cover across a set amount of time (following the traditional Tri312 scoring system that is based on the USA Triathlon "USATri60" format, if you remember that format!) where there will be a different multiplier applied to your total distance for each discipline and all three adjusted distances will be combined into a total "adjusted" distance determines your overall finish "score".  Your distance will be adjusted by the multiplier from each of the three distances as follows:

• SCORE = SWIM DISTANCE (x3) + BIKE DISTANCE (x1) + RUN DISTANCE (x2)

Results will be determined and then ranked following our Tri312 standards (same as USA Triathlon standards) for each 5-year age group, per gender, including MALE, FEMALE, and NON-BINARY across the following categories:
14 and under, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80+

AWARDS
Awards will be issued to overall winners for each gender: 
Overall Male, Overall Female, Overall Non-Binary.

4-STAR SERIES AWARDS
Additional awards will be issued to the top athletes who complete at least 4 events in a calendar year:
✶ TRI312 SERIES CHAMPION (based on your top 4 triathlon performances in a calendar year)
✶ "DOUBLE CHAMPION" (top 4 "double" event triathlon performances for those who two races in one day, across a calendar year.)
✶ "IRON MONSTER CHAMPION" (top 4 triathlon performances in a calendar year for athletes who have completed at least 1 iron distance triathlon outdoors)
✶ "FIRST TIMER CHAMPION" (top 4 triathlon performances in a calendar year for a "beginner" athlete who is competing in their first year of outdoor triathlons)
✶ "HIGH SCHOOL CHAMPION" (top 4 triathlon performances in a calendar year for a HIGH SCHOOL division athlete)
✶ "COLLEGIATE CHAMPION" (top 4 triathlon performances in a calendar year for a COLLEGIATE division athlete)

"MIXED TEAM RELAY" CLUB SERIES AWARD
Triathlon clubs or any group of friends can also compete for an overall series championship, following the spirit of a Olympic "Mixed Team Relay" result.  The more you race, the more opportunities you have to improve your team results before the end of the year to claim this championship! 
NOTE: Please make sure to coordinate ahead of time to have the first person on your team create a consistent team name at each event in the series that you plan to register for, and use the same team name at each event. Coordinate to ensure your teammates select the team name at registration to ensure results are accurately grouped together.

✶ "TRI CLUB CHAMPIONS" (top 4 triathlon performances in a calendar year from 4 unique athlete's top performances from 1 club or group, which must include at least 4 unique athletes with 2 athletes from 2 different genders, example: 2 male and 2 female.  Similar to a single "mixed team relay" but spread across any number of events across the entire calendar year.)

Preliminary results will be updated "live" on race day and available in *almost* real time.  These preliminary results will typically available within 1 hour of the event finish at http://tinyurl.com/indoortri-results

Official "final" results will be posted within 24-48 hours on the event website, under the RESULTS tab at https://www.tri312.com/results
