LSF-IC: ATTACHED PARKING GARAGE
Discounted club parking is available in the attached PUBLIC PARKING garage (221 N. Stetson) adjacent to the club's front entrance (211 N. Stetson) as part of the "PARK MILLENNIUM" condo building (but not to be confused with the similarly named "MILLENIUM PARK" garages that are located just 1.5 blocks to the south in Grant Park!). Validated parking is subject to change but typically offered at a reduced rate of ~$7 for two hours, ~$10 for three hours, or ~$13 for eight hours. Please bring your parking ticket into the club for validation at the LAKESHORE SPORT & FITNESS (LSF) - ILLINOIS CENTER FRONT DESK. LSF-IC: PEDWAY WALKWAY
The health club's lobby entrance is connected to the parking garage via the CHICAGO PEDWAY underground walkway system (check elevator buttons and simply follow the signs), which is also directly connected to over 40 blocks of the downtown Chicago area - including connections to several nearby office buildings, hotels, Metra (Metra.com) train, and Chicago Transit Authority (https://www.transitchicago.com/) "el" system that can take you directly to the airport!

Metered street parking is also available right out front along N. Stetson Ave, simply pay at the terminal, or download the optional "Park Chicago" app to pay from your phone. See ParkChicago.com for more info.

EDGEWATER ATHLETIC CLUB (EAC) - HEALTH CLUB LOCATIO & INFO:
The EAC health club is conveniently located just two blocks from the Granville CTA red line stop, with free parking also available nearby. The official street address is 1040 W Granville Ave (The Sovereign) but please note that the health club entrance is on Kenmore Ave adjacent to Loyola University Lakeshore Campus (across the street from: 6211 N. HISTORY: When the Sovereign hotel opened (over 100 years ago!), the Prince of Wales visited and presented two ornate vases, which are displayed in a sitting room. The Prince later became King Edward VIII and then abdicated the throne in order to marry the American divorcee, Wallis Simpson. They became the Duke and Dutchess of Windsor. The duke might also have bumped into Charlie Chaplin or Gloria Swanson who -- building lore has it -- stayed here when they made movies at the famed Essanay Studios in Chicago, which were in the neighborhood. Johnny Weissmuller , who competed in the Olympics and played Tarzan in films, swam in the building's indoor pool.
